As someone who’s been an SM stan since 2009, it irks me seeing some EXO-Ls saying “SM are spending all of their money on NCT who aren’t even successful.” I am an EXO-L, but also an ELF and NCTZEN. ELFs went through this too during EXOs debut. Whilst there was the amazing MV for MAMA and really cool teasers, Super Junior came out with the awfully edited MV Spy. If fans could just be a little more understanding, there’s no need to be bitter towards younger groups!

It’s so obvious EXO try to be the great seniors to Red Velvet and more apparently, NCT that all of their seniors have always been to them. As much as I hate to assume I know a thing about what actually goes on with the idols, SM family warms my heart more than anything that I’ve come across while stanning K-pop.

Confession: When I first got into NCT, I honestly had trouble telling them a part, but now that I’ve been a fan for a while, obviously I know who is who. BUT I will say the following: Kun and Chenle are definitely brothers, Yuta and Taeyong are different versions of each other, and not only do Doyoung and Jungwoo look like they have some kind of familiar ties, but they sound alike too. I really didn’t realise it was two different people singing those soft ass verses in Boss (as a new fan).

If SM keeps on acting as if NCT is Taeyong and Mark+ backup dancers., they will never make it big. Yes I know they are talented, but this group has so many members with so much potential. The center distribution in Boss and Chain was the worst one I have ever seen in K-pop! NCT released 5 MVs with Mark and Taeyong each being in 4 of these while other members (*cough* Johnny, Yuta) get 1 MV. It is just not fair, and as someone who really like likes NCT this makes me just lose interest.
