i don’t know why people always call 1/3 “loona’s cute unit” when most of their stuff was just classical-influenced ballads. yyxy’s love4eva, the song and choreo, was some of the cutesy-est stuff loona have ever put out, in my opinion. (also, it’s kinda awkward seeing yves doing that aegyo in the choreography.)

it’s weird, because i LOVED yyxy’s solos and solo album b-sides (see saw and rosy are god tier) but yyxy’s mini album just didn’t blow me away as much as 1/3 and odd eye circle’s did. where 1/3 and odd eye circle had this magical, very “loona” vibe to their music, i thought yyxy’s mini album sounded generic, in a weird way. i felt bummed when i realized it, but i think they’re my least favorite subunit out of loona, even though my two biases are in it.

i think bbc deserves a lot more appreciation for their attention to detail in constructing the loonaverse and for how well they conceived all of it. i don’t generally obsess over theories or deeper meanings of music videos, but after watching a video or two with pretty convincing fan theories, i realized just how elaborate and intricate loonaverse is. it always makes me wonder how bbc and digipedi were able to convey one cohesive story so cleverly across that many mvs.
